First of all, I want to apologize to my reader (readers?): I’ve been away from my Blog for too long. Sorry.
Recently, I was revisiting The Colorado Experiment and it gave me an idea: why not do one such experiment myself?
So here I am: I plan to do a 28 days experiment… Starting tomorrow! But I wasn’t too sure about what to experiment. The fact is I already have a nice routine and I don’t really want to make any significant change in my weight lifting regimen at this point.
So, why should I do this sort of thing?
Well, I have a sense that some aspects of my training are not so under control, my diet for example. I somehow believe I should be on a high protein/low carb diet all year long. But I’m not sure I want to give up my cheese cake… Unless it’s worth it!
My Quebec Experiment is: while keeping other things equal, be on a high protein/low carb diet for the next 28 days.
In term of protein, my goal is to consume 1g of protein per lbs of lean mass per day. I will not make any specific effort to cut or raise my total daily calorie intake.
Next step: I will compute tomorrow (July 1) my BKI to get the amount of protein I will have eat/drink.
Finale note: I now have a Twitter account. For now, I’m using it to log comments related to my workouts. I invite you to follow me.
