About M

MikeGravatar80Hi there. My name is Michel Félix. I got hooked by weight lifting when my brother P and I decided to train together some 10 years ago.

Since then, I tried a lot of things in the gym, without much results. Only lately did I understood some of the subtile art of proper training.

Strength training, being physically active and maintaining a good health in general are my “investment” in my own “life insurance”.

During the day, I participate in the analysis & design at the business level of an ePrescribing system. My other area of interest, where I spend a fair amount of my discretionary time,  are the Personal Health Record systems, or PHR.

I live in the greater Montreal area (Quebec, Canada) with my wife Danielle and our 3 children.

About P

PeteGravatar80Hey! My name is Pierre Félix. I turned to weight lifting during a rough period of my life in 1999 and it seems at that time, especially as a swimmer, it was my only buoy.

For more than a decade now, my brother and I are sharing this – as it became a – “Lifetime Achievement”. On top of his time spent training, M loves doing research and deeply read on the subject. On my side I do concentrate my efforts experimenting on me, here in my home gym. Not always in a non-destructive way though! But M is there to get me back on track of sustainable muscular development!

For a living I share my knowledge, as a Safety Management Consultant, on how to build a Strong Safety Culture in today’s Organizations. As a pastime those days, I’m doing stones assembly (see Sculptures de Pierre). I’m also testing my new strength at Masters Swimming Contests during sprint events like 50 & 100 meters Butterfly stroke.

I have two grown up daughters and I reside on the south shore of Montreal island (Quebec, Canada) with my spouse Mireille who welcomed me in her three kids’ family.
